You start with emotion. Then you shape it into something powerful.
Where it started
The first song came at 14. A brother-in-law who plays keys for major artists showed KingJu1c3 the process in high school, and the writing started over those instrumentals.
The original inspiration was Michael Jackson, watched on repeat through Moonwalker as a kid. Ne-Yo and Ginuwine came next, and you can hear them in records like For Tonight and My $hawty. The favorite contemporary artist, and the dream opening slot, is The Weeknd.
The return
The debut album, The Chronic El, came first. Then an eight-year break. The pandemic changed the math: nothing is guaranteed, so why wait? KingJu1c3 went back to the studio to chase the dream for real.
The process
The routine starts with a morning walk. Find a beat on YouTube or BeatStars, write on the spot, and if something hits, record it on BandLab before the walk is even over. What It i$ was born that way, then finished in the home studio.
KingJu1c3 writes and records the tracks, and mixes and masters most of them too.

A mysterious muse appears on 7 Eleven, and her absence on Where You At turns into obsession.
